Well last week while I was away on a m/c trip... my daughters 2002 v6 5sp mustang got hit on the drivers side rear quarter (behind the door in front of rear tire), this set of both front air bags, the wheel took some of the impact so I'm sure that is bent, becuase it looks like it bent the rear axle a little, it's leaking/wet where the tube goes into the center section.
So... I called junk yards... look like about 400.00 for a rear (damn) but when I asked about the air bags... there showing a diffeent listing for the pass side... looks like a before 4/11/2002 and after 4/11/2002, well the car date on the door has 04/02 so I don't know what day it was made.. and what the difference is in the air bag????/ I can find a set for 179 on e-bay, but now this date thing has me worried?

my plan right now, is to replace rear, replace wheel, and replace the air bags, and bang the dent out as best I can... and let her drive it until it's done for good... has almost 200k on it, but runs great, has the pyra duel cat back exhuast, sounds good, just did all new clutch (everything, cable, quadurant, ect) a year or so ago, and last year I did the upper intake gasket and new WP (didn't need wp but I had to take it off anyway)...
