One day the A/C in my 1997 GT is working perfect. A week later I try to use the A/C again, and it blows nothing but hot air. Any ideas?

I figured that I had a freon leak, but that would be a slow, gradual loss of air conditioning, not an abrupt one like I suffered. I checked all the fuses, they were good. Any ideas what the problem could be?

It could be your a/c cycling switch, its about a 12$ part from ford. You can jam a paper clip in the harness and if your clutch cycles the whole time its more than likley a bad cycle switch. Also if thats what it is your probably having a bad idle when you turn on the a/c. Hope this helps,

Travis

I dont use it enough to justify spending $1k to fix it. Where is the A/C cycling switch, Travis?
