Can anyone direct me to a place on the web to download steps for removal of air conditioning on 95 5.0 GTS?

I can't direct you to a website, but I can for the most part explain how to do this, I just got done doing it a couple months ago.

You will need a A/C line disconnect tool, which can be had at Autozone or the like for about $10. You will also need to have your A/C system drained by a shop. After that, it just a matter of disconnecting everything. The compressor is on the lower driver side of the accessory bracketing, and it attached by 3 bolts. Just trace all the lines from this and disconnect them using the A/C line disconnect tool. Also, the A/C condensor is located in front of the radiator, so you will have to yank the radiator out if you want to remove it, I don't think it hurts anything to just leave it in the car even if its not hooked up. If you any anymore specific questions or problems, just let me know and I'm sure myself or someone else around here can help you out.

You need a new serpintine belt right? since your not running it on the a/c anymore, dont you need a shorter one?

Is an A/C Delete pulley required, or can you just run a shorter belt?

I know on the fox cars, an A/C Delete is needed because without it, the belt will be to close together when it is rerouted and rub against itself.

most of the guys ive talked to that removed theres used the ac delete. Im thinking you can run a shorter belt somehow.

Thats the one thing I forgot - shorter belt. If you use the A/C delete kit, you can retain the belt you have on. If you don't use the kit - and you don't need to, you will need to pick up a shorter belt. I run a 900K6 with no smog or A/C.

I see, how many smog parts can be removed?? Will the computer freak out if they are removed? Thanks...

I recently removed my AC gear and Ill let you know, it was quite easy. Just follow what red94 said, it'll only take ya a couple of hours.

To save you some money, if you keep your smog pump intact, all youll need to do is buy a 103.5 inch serpentine belt. My auto parts didnt have any and told me they were rare belts, so I bought a 103.7 belt and it works perfect. No AC delete kit is required, and no change in the belt's route through the pulleys if you just delete the AC.

What can be used to cap of the evaporator core pipes (assuming that it's left in there)? I'd rather have them closed off so that something doesn't get in there in case if it needs to be reconnected and used again.

Any how to links?

Any how to links. Its been a few years. Wanted to do a search before I asked. But my ac compressor pulley froze and I just ordered the ac delete kit by Ford Racing. Now any hints or tips??? What if any thing needs to be plugged? What can I use? What can I leave in, so when I have the extra cash, I can replace the AC? Just want to really remove the compressor. Let me know. Got a 95 GT. Thanks in advance...

you dont need a delete kit... send it back... run a shorter belt... just rip it all out. if you want i have a compressor i can let go for a decent price

Ditto. The hardest part about pulling your complete AC system is getting the condensor out (it can be done without pulling the radiator, you just have to be a contortionist who doesn't mind losing some skin off your arms). If you're going for weight savings, this is a pretty significant piece of weight right at the nose of your car.

I pulled smog and AC, and didn't spend any money on delete kits; just a new belt.
