Air is going out...need to get it in.

OK i am sending the mustang into the shop next week for a full set of longtubes, prochamber and cat back install. That should help air flow out of the engine. now to put more air in, i already have the CDC Shaker hood...i was thinkin about a K&N air filter, a MAF a C&L power pipe, or K&N FIPK, a new TB and the C& L upper Plenum and a intake spacer too. Is this a good combination? will it all bolt up to the shaker or will i have to modify it? what size MAF and TB should i get and finally how much should i expect to see from this? Thanks Guys :nice:

I personally would skip the MAF. It has been pointed out on here many times that some tuners WILL NOT tune a car with a C&L MAF unit. Also, I don't really think the factory MAF is really that restrictive unless you go with a blower and then I would look into a Lightning MAF.

The C&L plenum w/a 75mm TB is a good idea. I have the C&L plenum with Accufab 75mm TB and it feels much better. I haven't dyno'd the car though because I waiting to get the cams in before I get it tuned/dyno'd.

The shaker and C&L plenum will not fit. The intake spacer will hurt performance when combined with the C&L plenum. It was designed with a built in spacer and adding a spacer to it will only hurt performance. Also the stock maf is fine for the mods you are planning.
