airbag delete

I pulled the airbag from the pass side and didnt need a delete panel? Why would you?

OK, i retract that statement.. Normally the airbag rubber front cover is attached to the airbag, as one entire piece.

What i did was, simply took a razor blade and cut a nice even line, seperating the airbag ( still sealed up and functional) from the airbag cover. I believe there were rivits normally holding the cover on, i didnt fart around with drilling them out, although you could, if you wanted to keep the airbag for future use.
With the cover cut off, it slips right back in the dash very nicely, and holds in place with the factory velcro tabs on each end. Plus the airbag location makes for a nice hidden storage compartment, or to mount an MSD, or such.

Just do what i did/mentioned and you wont have to buy anything, and can reuse/sell the airbag in perfect working order, if you want to.

On the floor? What you see is mounted under the steering wheel, thats how i drive ( hand controls) Look at my Avatar, for another clue, lol..

I sold the airbag because I don't want it. I have plans to put this car onto some road courses, and the last thing I want going off are my airbags.

I forgot to mention, I am selling the airbag cover as well. So, I need to find a cheap delete plate to place over the hole created.

Hey, Mike want to do me a huge favor and pull your airbag cover off and post a pic on here, so I have an idea of how much space I am working with here?
