Airbag light and a weird chime

I've just removed my 93 LX 5.0 from storage and I've come across some weird problems. The one I have now is an occassional airbag light and a new chime I've never heard before, and I'm not sure they're related. First, the chime. It's coming from inside the dash and it's almost the same chime as when you open the door with the keys in the ignition. It stays on whenever the car is running. I'm not too sure if it has an associated warning light because my instrument panel lights are not always working. My blinkers and parking brake lights being two others I know I should be seeing but rarely do. Second, the airbag light. This one I do see flashing once in a while, but like I said before, these lights are less than reliable. I'm not even sure if it is flashing or supposed to be constant because of the same problem with the instrument panel lights. Has anybody heard of this before or have any advice? I'm guessing they're related, but I'm not sure what causes an airbag light, and searching here hasn't really gotten me any answers. Any help would be apreciated!

If the bulb for the air bag light is not working, the diagnostic module will chime.

stang&2Birds is right on with this. See if you can get an error code out of your airbag light though it will be tough if the light itself is intermittent.
