Airbags to pass Inspection?

I live in NY. If you have been in an accident where both airbags deployed...will your car pass inspection with the airbags removed? By the way i have a 94 GT.

how will they know the airbags have been removed?

well the easiest way will be the covers being split open...

Do you have those airbag covers that look like airbags or are they just removed? Maybe you can try and take out the bulb for the airbag in the dash cluster.

if you take the bulb out, it will beep

Yes it will beep but will stop after 30 seconds. The beeping will come back from time to time but lasts about 30 seconds.
