How hard is it to install airbags? Not the suspension kind the safety kind.
What do I do? Any instructions online? The car already has all the sensors and such....i assume. The bags have deployed but weren't replaced.

I'm not sure about the passenger side (mine doesn't have one) but the drivers side is so simple a child can do it :nice: There are 4 nuts on the back of the steering wheel...you can feel the holes in the back and you just have to put a deep socket on them and take 'em off, then the whole module comes out

Right. And memory serves me correctly, there are indeed holes on the back of the steering wheel itelf, but there are 2 round covers hiding the nuts that retain the airbag to the wheel. Take a pick or pocket screwdriver and pop the covers out, remove the nuts from the studs, and pull the airbag out. Again, let me stress to disconnect the battery upon replacing the airbags.
The passenger side has a form of self tapping screws that hold it in. Good luck and let us know what we can do to help.

OK I see how easy the drivers side is.
The passenger side seems much more complicated. The cover on mine doesn't seem to fit well and looks bad, what can i do to fix this, the airbags deployed at one time and i'm fairly sure i see something in it that resembles an air bag. I can't see how to get the whole thing out and don't wanna just start yanking on it, and i don't see any way to stick it down to make it look better.

hey man, i had to replace the airbags on my 95 gt. like you said the drivers side is a piece of cake. the passanger side requires that you remove the glovebox. then there are some self-tapping screws which hold the air bag in. it helped me when i removed the airduct work for the passangers right leg. i also did it upside down with the seat all of the way back. it made it a bit easier for me. there are sensors that need to be replaced. i believe that they are under the console...i cant remember the side though. good luck with it and take your time lining it up. it takes a bit of patience. when its lined up solidly press the velcro on each end of the airbags into their respective places on the inside of the dash.
good luck pal, let me know you you did,

What are the sensors? Is it the module? Where can i find this/these?
How could i just attach the cover of the passenger air bag to make it look stock, cus its there but like not aligned.

Thanks a lot for replying so far.
