alarm installed...FUEL PUMP NOT WORKING!

i just installed a viper alarm on my 01 gt and not when i trun the key on all i hear from the fuel pump is a CLUNK. no whine like it should. i am getting no fuel at all. what could have caused it? i'm about to rip that damn alarm out to try to get it running again.

You always hear your fuel pump? Go to the trunk and press the reset button for the fuel pump.

NM i'm a dumbass. i had the instrument cluster out to pull the ABS light, and when i was testing the alarm i didnt put it back in. it is all back together and working fine again. thanks Killy

and yes the focus pump is LOUD!

I wonder if its loud in the SVT focus? Hmm. Bet my Ford GT pump will be crazy loud HAHA. DANG!!!!!!!

both my cars have the SVTF pump, neither are any louder than any ordinary car.

cant be much louder than the whinebro 255 i had in my dsm.

the pitch even varied when you had accessories going like turn signals and such. i finally had to use dynomat around the whole fuel tank, the underside of the car, and inside the rear seat cabin just to make it bearable, and you could still hear it from outside the car if you were in traffic.
