Now that i got a new paint job comming, i am starting to juggle the idea of getting an alarm. I don't need remote locks or anything like that, just a simple alarm that has a sensitivity thing to where if someone is messin with teh car it goes off. What would be a good choice that is somewhat affordable.

Any suggestions, baisic, doesn't need too many bells and whistles.

Look into Clifford alarms. They are VERY small and tuck nicely under the dash where no one will ever see, or expect...until it's too late!

Yeah I think I am going to have to invest in one of those. There has been a rash of car thefts and breakins in Lubbock. Last night a friend of mine had his car broken into and his radio stolen. Get this the but-wholes cut out his door lock to get in ruining his door. I was so pissed off I couldn't belive it. The week before my roomates GN was stolen from our apartment. They cracked his steering column to get it to start and then ripped out every electronic accessory he had installed. They totaly jacked up his wireing harness in the process. I think I might start sitting out side with a shoutgun at night.

BTW:
How hard is it to install power door locks?
