Just got MM subframe connectors and UPR torque box reinforcements today. Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend!

Yeah I know AJ. I heard he went to Armory, how's he doing? when he gets the swap done tell him to come by and see Tom at Nissan service. His last car was a screamer, whats he doing to it besides the swap?

He really is not doing much more than putting his engine in anouther body.He just found a nice 88 that just got painted so he bought that and put a cage in just in case all we gotta do now is finish the other car so he can sell it and order parts for his car.I dont know what you guys got planned for this weekend but I hope to get time to go over and get mine back out by friday so let me know if you want to get together if its nice out.

Nice to see so many ALbany area people...Im new at this forum thing as well as a new mustang owner..Just purchased a 94 vert last year..havent really had the time to get into it...I do have some work to do and i cant wait to get at it!( if it stops raining) I live near clifton Park also and have several friends who have mustangs also...we are also older (age not actions!) but we can keep up or at least give it good attempt! ok..i will keep posted to this thread to keep up with the action..wouldnt mind a get together when the weather breaks...hooters ...hymmmm.. i guess im not that old!!....lol......soon to get some pics to post..i hope... later all....waiting for some good weather!

I myself am also a mark martin fan from years ago, i guess im a roush racing fan alltogether! well, gotta run and get the son from baseball practice.. glad to meet ya and the rest of you guys, hope to get together for some cruises and maybe pick your brains for some 5.0 info.....ok, later on..........pray for some better weather!!

Hey Oldster, are they weld in or bolt in? And let me know what you think after you instal them. I put a set of FRPP "C" springs in over the winter as well as some new shocks and struts. I'm wondering how much of a difference the subframe connectors will make. Hopefully(weather permitting) I will be makeing a trip out to Bristol CT. on sunday for a little autocross action.
I've put about 700 miles on the car in the past 2 weeks! TO HELL with the weather!

Illion! i used to go there(Illion gorge, I think the name of place) with my bike!
I'm about 45min~1hr from there. Infact, I was just there past Sunday on my way to turning stone!

Yea, I moved in 4 weeks ago. Don't know what to do with myself, I don't know the area. I'm picking up my car over easter break, so hopefully I can find some people who want to cruise or know about some shows going on.

Roached how have you been? Both the subframe connectors and the torque box reinforcements are weld in. Looks like the guy who's going to do the welding has to go to PA this weekend for tech and to qualify for the One Lap of America Race so it won't get done. Hopefully he will have time for me while he's preping his F Body for the race/rally. When we get to them I'll let you know.

Is it John O? Albany Radiator? I used to work there about 7-8 years ago! Saw his Firebierd about 1 month ago, right after he had put his exhaust on. Sounded sweet. I asked about the subframe connectors because John and I were talking about them a while back. He said it made a big difference in his car even though he already had a roll cage.

well, maybe i will just buy a snowmobile and trade in my mustang! or a boat would be more like it! Man this weather is depressing.......I need some warm weather to do some work on the stang!! ............well.......just have to wait i quess......just received my deep dish bullit rims(chrome) 17x9 and 17 x 10.5....waiting on the tires.....and the weather......good thing patients comes with age...which i should have alot of at my age....later on albany........

back again.........question for you guys...original top on my convert < is it vinyl or canvas? 1994 gt convert? i think its vinyl.... i need to clean it and need to know for this purpose....probable a dumb question but i said i was new at this.......any help would be appreciated...thanks in advance for your help.

I do believe you will find it is vinyl. My 2000 is anyway, and last 95 i saw was vinyl as well. I've been useing Mothers Conv. Top Cleaner on mine for about 2 years now, It works great with a soft brisol brush.
