Ok,tomorrow I'm getting this thing aligned. I put an Eibach Pro-Kit on & it lowered the front 1.2 inches & the back 1 inch. Does anyone have any suggestions?

No I did'nt, these guys are asking about adding a cam...appearently whare the strut bolts up at the bottom ,the holes wear out and they sometimes require these,"cams" I did ask about cast&camber plates and they said they would do what they could without adding them, but they did say that they prefer them.795.0pacecar said:Did you get caster camber plates?
Before you leave the alignment place make sure you look at the rack and check the dust boots, alot of alignment techs dont feel that its nessisary to unclamp the dust boots, so they become twisted up and can rip open, sometimes when they actually do unclamp the boots they break the clamps, make sure they re-clamped them.
Drive the car around and if it feels off at all bring it back.
I have never had good luck with alignment shops so now I just do it myself at school, you wouldn't believe how crappy some alignment jobs are performed. I aligned my car myself a couple weeks after bringing it to an alignemnt shop and but tie rod jam nuts were lose and the toe was way out, not to mention the dust boots were all twisted up.
Thanks for nothin Big 10 tires.
Any suggestions on a good brand??Mustang5L5 said:Get them. When you start eating front tires up you'll end up finally getting them and then having to get the car aligned again
Can toy suggest a good AFFORDABLE brand??795.0pacecar said:There is some adjustment in the factory plates, but not much. With my stock plates and my car being lowered quite a bit, I can get 1 degree of negative camber out of the driver side, but non on the passenger side, I can get a ton of positive camber on the passenger side, but thats no good, so I need caster camber plates.
$160....wonder if ebay would have them for less.795.0pacecar said:www.stangsuspension.com Any one of the caster camber plates they sell are pretty good.
Ok, I'm going to chance it and just get it aligned and if it works out....Kool! if not...then i know my next move.302RollinHard said:Sounds to me like the shop has a decent idea as to what they are doing. See what they can do. As stated above, there is some adjustability (involves grinding of rivets, etc) there, but no use buying them unless you need them. I put the pro-kit on mine, and got away without them. I also watched the guy do it all, so I am pretty confident he did it correctly.
