AND our new website. I posted pictures from the all ford show. get a load of the 93 cobras. The owners tried to convert them to saleens. It was sad.

SAT night we had a wing swap in our garage. Our friend bought a cervinis wing painted black at the show (swap meet part for 75.00) , but HE ligned up the holes wrong and ended up putting on my old gt wing for now. Awesome deal!!!!

It rained off and on but the weather held up. I was in the show and so was our friend steve. We found out the hard way this weekend that if you dont belong to a "mustang club" dont even bother. Im very dissapointed in the politics. They voted for thier kind and thier kind only regardless of the other cars. There were only 8 87-93 coups. Mine and steves were by far the best of that class.
I wont be entering my car in that show ever again.Wifesweetstang website

I like car shows to meet people but the politics are too much for me. All ford shows around here are all that way! The only one you have a chance at is Belleview and there your car has to be way goddy to win. Proof is the purple mexi mustang that won 2 years ago that had grease and dirt all over under the hood but was bright purple.

Missed the show

I missed the show again ...thats like 3 years in a row ...baww ..I was working

Anyway Misha, Yup it's like that ...all politics... I had the someone in the Wrangles try to tell me to vote for his cobra last year in Vancouver.../bird
I won my class at the stampede due to politics... that trophy sits in my garage in shame.. while my 3rd place plac from the round up sits with pride on my bookshelf.

Last year changed my mind about car clubs ... I dont think I will ever join one now ... I think It's better that we are all just friends and hang out with no obligations to one another.

When I PAY to enter a car show and cast MY vote for peoples CHOICE awards I will VOTE for what I LIKE ...
If I know you and I like your car better than the others I will vote for it ....
If I dont know you and I like your car better than the others ... I will vote for it ..

As far as the 93 Cobras... what a shame ... I dont have alot of room to talk I guess ..(due to the 95 Cobra R's on the coupe) ...
But when you have some thing that stands on it's own (93 cobra) why try to make it into something it's not
Just my 2 cents

Nice site Misha .. we will kick Azz at the round up..

I felt the same way for many years about the clubs and the politics. I joined a club 5 years ago and am still a member but I don't participate in their events or show up to the meetings. I pay my yearly dues and use the club discounts on parts. I felt I had to do it that way because I wanted people to vote for my cars because they were better than the rest, not because I was part of their club. On top of that, the majority of the members wouldn't give me the time of day. I must say, I have not noticed the politics as much the past couple years.

I admit, I do vote for my friends cars from time to time, but for the most part, I vote for what I like. Saturday was kind of screwey anyway because they juggled the catagories around. I ended up with a trophy from another catagory for my Boss. I kind of wish they would have left it alone instead of combining stuff together.

Misha, I am surprised you didn't win? I voted for your car twice. I wonder if they combined catagories due to few participants

I have noticed the politics bigtime. Yes I don;t have a stang, but I went to a show that was a ford show, I have ford power and drivetrain, they would not let me in!! then after I park on the street to go in and see the show, there is a NON ford car (chassis and power) right up front at the sign in booth, WTF!?!?!?

Some clubs are worse than others about that sort of stuff too. I will just go for peoples choice myself. that really tells you what the spectators like..

Oh sure, take the pic AFTER I head home... what are ya tryin' to say????

I saw the guy from Mustangsa Unlimited there, he was trying to get me to join their club... I told him I went to a few of their meetings before, but they were all such a bunch of stuck up pr*%#s that I had no interest in ever going back. He said it isn't like that any-more.... so may-be I'll check one out again here this summer.

Shame about the voting Misha, your ride and foureyes looked the best in our class. Did you get a load of the guys at the start trying to break em up at the 91 model year?!?!?! And these are supposed to be Ford people???? ...dweebs...

Good to see all you guys...
