All my lights go off when I run my foglights for a few minutes

This has been going on since I got the car (1993 Cobra). Whenever I turn on the foglights everything is fine for a while and then all my lights go out and do not come back on until I manually flip the switches to the off position and then turn them back on

Anyone know how to fix this? It is pretty damn annoying to not be able to run my foglights at all

Search for the Corral fog light rewire (Jrichker has recently posted the link). The thermal switch in the headlight switch opens the circuit because of the current overload from the afterthought foglights.

The relay on the fogs will help the situation.

Is'nt the headlight switch for the gt/cobras prone to overheating and melting the wiring behine the switch...thought I read that somewhere+it happened to my bro's 89 gt

yup thats why the corral fix is the way to go so that wont happen
