Allen Engine Development revII Supercharger kit for 99-04 gt's

It's a eaton M90 supercharger same thing the saleen kit uses. You could buy a KB 6# kit and make more power than this blower. Not a bad blower just not as effecient as a centrifugal or twin screw. For $3800 you can also get a vortech 9# kit and put down anywhere from 350rwhp to 370rwhp

True, but you will not get the intercooler with those kits at that price...

IMO - As far as moderately powered, daily drivers go, this is a wonderful kit. Its not for the guy trying to make huge dyno #"s, or for the person looking for low 11's in the 1/4. Its aimed at the owner who wants to be able to run past LS1's, yet still put 12-20K miles a year on his car. The eaton blower will last well past 100K miles, and the low end torque the kit makes will put a smile on anybodys face.
A lot of T-bird owners have Allen kits and love the power under the torque curve that the 4.6 makes with the Eaton.

But a cent. blower is a hell of a lot more eff. You don't need a cooler at those small # numbers. You can run 15-17 without on a cent. blower.

I totally agree. Not everyone wants to make 350-400rwhp for their street daily driver. I've seen dyno numbers at 320rwhp with these kits and they have been proven reliable in many oem applications.

I hate the way it looks in the car. Salleen did have the series II on sale a while back for 3239.oo looks a lot better

damn over 300 lb/ft tq from idle to 4750 rpm on 6 psi. thats pretty impressive.

The eaton M90 is also put out on the 3.8 v6 supercoupe T-birds and cougar XR-7's

Btw there are plenty of stangers who have put a vortech or paxton centrifugal's on their car and had them last as long as the tune was setup right and they didn't beat the hell out of it. Only time will tell about the KB's since they are still new to the market for the modulars.

Yes these are good kits but IMO if your gonna pay the money why not get the most bang for your buck and get something that's going to put out more power from the get go. As well as being able to put more power to the ground if you decide to make more power. On these blowers your limited alot more as to what HP range you can go to. If your happy with 320-380rwhp that's fine but I'd rather buy a vortech S,T-trim that can go 600rwhp+ or a Novi and build as you need or want more power.

I'm looking at it from a upgrade point of view. $3800 for a kit that will make a solid 320rwhp but needs alot more money put in to get to and above the 400rwhp mark where as a you can spend that same amount on a non/intercooled kit and have a far better blower that can get over 400rwhp for the same cost. Just because it has a intercooler means nothing. If you check out the intercooler on those compared to a paxton A/A intercooler you will see that the eaton is vastly inferior.

Just food for thought.

I agree with cap...it would be pointless to buy this when its priced about the same as kits that put down over 350rwhp AND is less efficient.

I agree, it does seem way too expensive for what it is. I like it though
