after a 8 month break from the mustang scene, the bug finally got me again.

i finally picked up a new 5.0 this week. couldnt pass up the 0% financing and being able to pay off my wifes car while still getting into the first new car i have ever owned. i just got the car today and have some future plans for it already. it is a 2011 premium GT with 401a package, heated seats and 3.73's. i got the car for just over $32K out the door.

sorry for the crappy cell phone pics

i have a magnaflow exhaust system on the way, tint is getting done this thursday and taillight are getting smoked sometime this week.

plans before Mustang Week include lowering springs, rims and tires and a Kenne Bell 2.8 liquid cooled supercharger!!! i already put $1400 down on the blower and hope to have it on once the car gets the oil change at 3,000

Wont supercharging void your warranty?

Nice. Grabber blue is definitely my favorite color.

So did you sell the F250?

yea, the F250 is gone. after the putting it on the dyno and seeing how much it was blowing through the converter i decided it was best to let it go and buy something more suited to my driving style. it did lay down 536/1074 on the big tune though. i just didnt wanna fork out 8K for a built trans on a 20,000 mile truck!

Jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous!!

Congrats man, that is AWESOME. Sucks about the truck, it was nice as hell... but the 5.0's are awesome cars (sure you've figured that out, lol). I guess you won't have to miss out on MW this year...

Hot dang man! That is awesome! You should have brought it up to PCM today, get it on the rollers for a baseline. There were a TON of folks up there, and lots of good times.

And oh yea, Rudy's crew cab daily driver put down the most power of the day at 861 rwhp. More than supercharged, nitroused, turboed, built motor race cars.... Good times. A big supercharged Camaro had the highest numbers until then, and no one was about to let a GM take home the honors inside a Mustang shop....lol.

the plan right now is to keep this one very simple and still have all daily driver capabilities. the performance parts i have in mind are

KB 2.8 (7 psi till someone finds the stock bottom end limits)
O/R X pipe
Kooks axle back

the "safe limit" right now seems to be around 575 rwhp. the tuning software isnt even available yet for SCT to tune a s/c car from what i've been told. i will have to run the KB tune till the issues are resolved. i plan on making somewhere around 530-550 with the KB till we know the limits it can take.

appearance mods will be simple as i am happy with the car as it is.

tinted windows
tinted tails and side markers
california special front valence
GT500 rear diffuser
lowering springs
19 or 20" rims and staggered tires

That is going to be a sick setup. Congrats on the buy. I love my wife's grabber blue GT (although it is staying mostly stock)
