Well tommorow after I get home from school i'm taking my car up to my friends dad's muffler shop to get exhaust put on it. All i'm going to get FOR NOW is just the exhaust, and i'm undecided as to which flowmaster to get. I'm looking to get the "flow" of the newer mustangs and not rumble.. i guess you could say. Like I want my car to sound like the newer cobras, gt's for instence. So my question to you guys is, should I go with the 40 Series, or the Delta Flow 40 series? I went on mustangexhaust.com already and im still undecided. Also I went to flowmaster.com and their soundclip of the 40 Series doesnt sound all that good to me, but then again they tested it on a 63' Camaro or something. Then I checked out the delta flow 40 series and its on a damn AOD 90 lx. and not manual. (no offence to all the aod drivers! :D )
But yea, replies of what you think I should get would be very helpful, as I have only this night to decide. Thanks.
sorry soo long

Well I dont' think you can get a 5.0 to sound like a 2v 4.6 or 4v 4.6...but I have heard of the Mac Prochamber (midpipe) to make it sound similar to a 4.6...but I don't know about what catback...

I love the sound of the 4.6 to... :nice:

Go with the regular 40 series. I like that sound better.

You will never get your 5.0 to sound like a newer Cobra. A lot of that sound comes from the motor. Those DOHC motors sound exotic with a set of flows.

Can't beat the sound of Flowmasters on a 5.0 Mustang

I would go with the delta flows, that is what I have, they sound good. You might be glad you did once you get an o/r midpipe and headers, because that makes it much louder, as well as making it sound different.

They sound good at idle, part throttle and WOT, but at highway speeds the drone will drive you nuts!!! Go witha set of 3-chamber 50-series. You'll still sound like a 5.0, but you'll keep your sanity. I've got a Mac Flowpath system on mine and it sounds nearly the same and has the same problems that the Flowmaster system does...and the drone is madning!!!
