Alternative Tunes?

Guys when you refer to getting your car tuned....is there places or ways(other than me buying a tweecer or PMS) to get you car "tuned" without using a dyno. What I am getting at, is do speed shops/mechanics whatever have ways/electronic to tune the car without doing a dyno tune. I am looking to cure drivability issues, rather than tune my car for WOT. Any response on what can be done would be appreciated.

P.S I am about to pay one of you Tweecer/PMS guys to do it for me.:rlaugh: :nice: Anyone live in southern new jersey?:D

From the 03-04 cobra guys I have heard about a guy named Jon or John Lund who uses a W/B and datalogs and then tunes from that for a more "all around tune". The 03 guys realy seem to like him...I have not heard much good or bad about his tuning with the 94-95 eecs though.

The tweecerR/T (I know you said except) is basicly how we tune...we use a W/B in the best case situation to tune the A/F and get it to match the commanded. We can also get preaty close without one but the only way to know 100% is with a W/B. The street/real world is our dyno except we dont see hp numbers.

Any tuner that can datalog should be able to tune with a W/B using the "real" world/street as a dyno...getting them to leave the dyno might be an issue though.

If a customer has driveability issues, we take the datalogging software, laptop, chip burner, and NGS Tool out on the road and do complete driveability tuning as well when burning chips....same would go for the PMS etc..
