I picked up a 86 mustang with a 302 swap. it was originally a 4 or 6 cylinder car.
My question is, It had a dl73031 large frame alternator with a 2 pin connector on it the plug has a horizontal and vertical slot. I want a cheap replacement alternator just to get the car running. Can anyone tell me a part number or vehicle that also came with a large frame alternator that will bolt up with the same plug? it can be 60 or 70 amps as long as it's enough to run it and charge the battery, not worried about dimming lights etc.. with this car atm.
