I'm running a power wire from my PA Perf. 95 amp alt to the solenoid. Just wwondering what amp fuse to put in. Also i have 4ga and 2ga wire, which should i use? thanks

4 Guage is fine. I used a stock 175amp fuse from an F150 that I got from the junk yard. I think 150amp would be fine.

I'd go between 100 and 125. You don't want your fuse rating higher than that of your cable's rating.

I used 4 guage welding cable and 150 amp fuse that i bought at an audio place. I just got my car started today(finished the 4 cyl to 5.0 swap) and 700 rpm idle my batt read 13.9 volts.

4 ga is rated around 130 amps. So I would def use a 100 or 125 amp fuse with that wire.
