alternator

my 93 LX's alternator is acting strange it will sometimes overcharge and sometimes squeal like it's not charging enough... any ideas why it would do this? It's already been replaced once.

I had the same problem. I was running a aftermarket stereo and wen't through 2 alternators and before each alternator went out it squealed. My guess is you might want to run a bigger alternator.

Everything is stock on this car including the speakers and stereo so i don't know why it'd do that.
