Dont waste your money on a standard replacement. Search for 3g alternator. They came in many newer model cars and put out twice the power of that stupid pos

Very easy to upgrade to 3G alternator for just about the same price. You will thank yourself later

http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/3g-upgrade-parts.875360/

All you need is:
4 gauge wire, both black and red.
125 or 150 amp fuse (depending on the amperage of the alternator you get)
stator wire from JY or LatemodelRestoration
Ring terminals

And I think thats about it.

If the alternator doesn't have a external fan on the front, it probably is a 3G.
I noticed that it has a bolt on power wire, which is different from the original alternator.

I think that is a 3G alternator already. Of course, pics of the frontside would help.

But judging by the power wire post, looks like a standard 3G alt.

94-95 GT alt would be a replacement.

It's a 3G. Single stud on back is the giveaway.
