My overflow on my 5.0 was cracked and I had the shop replace it with an aluminum one. I was checking it out today and noticed it was empty. There is no line to show where the antifreeze level should be. My question is about how much antifreeze should there be in it ? Car seems to be running just a little hotter then normal.

Do yourself the biggest favor and get yourself a new stocker replacement! $29 from Mt. Laurel mustangs. You need to monitor the coolant level-every now and then. Aluminum is not see through , and doest hold enough coolant like the stocker, Not enough room for the A/Freeze to expand and contract-either. Just looks pretty. I had both-and woudl never go back to aluminum. I like to see my coolant level, in case of a problem. word to the wise.

Good luck, Anthony :nice:
