With the mods i already have plus LT's and a good set of LCA's, is it possible for me to touch 12's? Or am i going to have to buy a good set of cams to go with the LT's? Just wondering, thanks.

I mostly run auto x.. I've only made 5 passes at the track so i obviously need to get some skills in that area.. Not really any tracks around where i live now.. closest one is about an hour away and it's only 1/8th mile... but practice is practice i guess.. I would be extremely happy to see my car run a 13.2..That would make my day..

It's a DD car and as much as i love stage 2 cams i don't think i could afford them and 12's on a DD car would rock but 13.2 will make me happy enough.. guess i gotta hurry up and get the LT's

Yeah, 13.2's would mean very good track prep on a cool day at low altitude with some sweet traction and shifts - it's no picnic with just a bolt on car. Most people have ported heads and a stage 1 or 2 cam when aiming for 12.9's. I have about 12-15 runs in and have only gotten a 13.97 @100.5 and a 2.02 60 foot with my old set-up. Best 60 foot i've seen is a 2 flat

from what i hear the track prep here is total crap...Last time i was at the track i ran a 14.24 and i think my 60' was 2.6:notnice: That was in Orlando, wil only Intake and exhaust.. Now i'm in WV at 3200 feet. I don't know how much HP i'll lose from being higher up in altitude but i figure I need to start hanging out at the strip a little more to get my skills up a little better.

Mustang92 got into the 12's with about 260rwhp. His car was set-up for drag racing but was streetable also. I don't think he had cams at the time but his car was lightened and he had the Bullitt intake. Shoot Bill a PM.

I wish i could drive as good as that guy.. or at least get out of the hole that fast.

SLICKS! What more do you need? It's all about traction. With the slicks, you rev up to 5000 and dump the clutch and off you go...neck snapping acceleration. I warn you that a stock rear/axels will not hold up to many of those launches though.
