Sunday I got my 87 Gt dyno tuned and I much say I’m pretty surprised by the results. I was expecting less esp on a conservative tune and by :poo:ty powerdyne only pulling 4lbs of boost. With air conditioning lol. My mods are
Holley Systemax 2 intake
Twisted Wedge 170cc heads/valve springs
Anderson N-41 cam
Siemen Deka 60lb injectors
Full exhaust
Powerdyne 6psi pulley with UPR power pipe
3:73 gear
Holley terminator ECM
398HP and 379 ft lb of torque on a stock bottom end is pretty impressive in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Must be scary at times. You have more than a hundred horses than I got, and my car can be fun.
Lmao it’s a very fun car to drive. It doesn’t get driven like it should. with being as busy as I am and working on it all summer I may have put 60 miles on it all season. At times I’ve even lost interest but those numbers made me very happy and once it gets painted over winter I think I will be very very happy with it. I just finished the interior before the dyno tune. Don’t mind the missing kick panel lol that’s where the Holley terminator connector is for tuning purposes.

Congratulations!
How is the T-5 handling that engine? I worry at 325-350 1/4 mile calculated Hp.
So far so good. I have not had to the track yet I’m hoping for 11.70s 1/4 mile time. The world class T5 is stronger then people give it credit for IF you don’t miss a shift or power shift and dump the clutch at every light. Ive see many a T5 handle 400HP with no issues and get abused at the track. You also want a softer clutch a lot of those stage 3 clutches that break your leg when depressing the pedal also make it more likely to break.

Sometimes when I go hard around a turn my rear spins out under me. I'm sure it really happens when you have that kind of power. I'm not sure I could keep the car in one piece with that set up.

Yeah I only go fast in my car while going straight lol. Although when I welded in the full length subframe connectors it made a huge difference in handling.
