I'm pretty sure I have seen that car on DFWstangs. If it is the same one the guy put a lot of work into it, and did the stuff right.

That's Whiteboy's from Dallas Mustang isn't it?
If so, that car is really done right, he wanted a Mach 1 vert. He used the complete drivetrain (except the Cobra IRS) from a Mach, and also used all the Mach interior, and suspension. It's a top notch car.

IRS is the ****at! and ford did it right! never got a chance to drive a IRS stang but I've owned a IRS Tbird supercoupe for years and the handling/ride is friggin awesome! a few Nitroused 460's in tbirds still running stock IRS no problems. I'm building a 347 for my bird right now and have no worries about it holding up!

it may be OK for a lower HP car but if you plan on making BIG power, you better have deep pockets to make that IRS hold up!

the mustang wasnt designed for IRS. they adapted the IRS to fit the car, so no it's not that great of a suspension. your TB was designed to have IRS so it most likely is a much better setup.

is IRS better riding.....yes
is IRS better for handling....yes
will IRS hold up to power for a long time....no

i've driven many of both type and i prefer SRA any day, but thats just my opinion
