Me and my friends came to the conclusion that everything in America is better that the rest of the world

America sets the standard for the world car warket with 40% of the marker here.

America has all these hard ass standards.

If americans dont like it thenthe rest of the world doesnt.

Thai girls > American girls.
I could list other things that Thailand has better, but the above pretty much trumps everything.

"Better" is subjective. Do you have empirical data to support your gratuitous assertion?

You start some of the umm most creative threads around here. I'll give you that.
I think the word you are looking for is market. ha ha warket-marker.
So with 40% your saying we are the biggest consumer of vehicles? So we have money. That's sweet, but there are other countries, Europe, that make very nice cars, expensive but nice.
Hard ass standards? On the whole, we are fat lazy bastids. Maybe your referring to something else, but I'm not sure hard ass fits Americans as a whole, maybe fat ass works better.
If Americans don't like it.........
How about how the rest of the world views americans as lazy, is jealous of our wealth and doesn't like us being in the middle east.
Now before I'm crucified, I love America. I'm not lazy or out of shape nor am I implying that you are either, I've seen your bloody shirt before. And I support our troops whole heartedly.
Just helping the discussion along that's all.

And you and your friends are so worldly that you definitely have accumulated the data/life experiences required to make this comparison and come to your conclusion...

I think Italy has some pretty nice cars but I dont know Ferraris and Lambos would be my choice over a Ford.

We are better at oil consumption and starting wars too

I'm actually very proud to be a North American (from Canada). (I question whether Mexico is part of North America). Our values and acheivments are generally unsurrpassed.

BTW China probably consumes more oil now I think.

So you're saying that an American built car (i.e. Ford) > Italian (i.e. Ferrari, Lamborgini) > German (i.e. AMG Mercedes)?

If so, you're on drugs.

as a whole i believe we are above the world once everything is averaged in... however there are a few things that do very much keep us from sheer domination. our education system is absolute garbage unless it is a private institution, and even then we are still nowhere near the top.

our cars are nothing great. they have their perks and downfalls. take the motto of the sacred 3: "cheap car, fast car, reliable car. choose any 2" sure russian cars blow ass on all fronts, but german cars are arguably affordable, reliable, and powerful. japan has been putting out awesome cars, both reliable and fairly cheap, we just get the rejects while they keep all the good ones (true S14 vs the crappy 240sx we have, nissan skyline, etc)

we do have the best military, but we are losing more adn more every day. damn govt keeps trying to strip out money and parts of our arsenal that makes it harder and harder to keep on top. just glad we havnt slipped from that position.

our women on the whole are fat and worthless money grubbers. i'd rather get an asian girl, or indian chick that is skinny and a money grubber, but at least tells you she just wants your money and citizenship and is happy with 40k a year instead of taking all your damn money and still bitching that you are broke.

with any arguement there are small numbers of exceptions to the rule. there are small private institutions that are top end: MIT for example. some women that are perfect.

so i say it comes down to this. after everything is averaged out we are prolly still on top.... but we dont do everything the best.... we could... but we dont.

Yup.....sounds like the kind of conversation a group of "full of themselves" teenagers might have. You guys weren't by any chance all smoking weed and listening to Lilith Fair albums at the time, were you?
