I don't know, but I have to commend you on your idea. If more people were like you, we would have more good affordable American parts and a better economy.

doesn't Probe Industries - High Quality Forged Pistons, Shaft Rockers, Main Girdles, Stud Girdles, Engine Kits, Crankshafts and Connecting Rods for Buick, Chevy, Ford, Chrysler, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Sport Compact Applications. - 866-718-6267 make all their stuff here. I use their pistons and I'm happy with them. Sad though it comes a day where it's harder to find American made parts for American cars Instead the slogan is "thought up in America, manufactured in China, and assembled in Mexico"

I think your out of luck on a American made forged or cast crankshaft in the US. Our wonderful government and big business decided to be competitive with the rest of the world we needed to send everything overseas.

Billet
Callies, Custom Crankshaft, Moldex, RODY. Rody is the only one I can vouch for, Greg did a billet I6 crank on dads pulling tractor.

No, I know for sure Eagle is made in overseas. From what I understand they are all cast by the same company overseas. As for the machining I do not know for sure who does what, but from what I heard they are all tied together.

I once heard an engine builder say he wouldnt use eagle rods in his lawnmower.

Give Sonny Bryant a call, custom billet stuff.

Just an FYI, scorpoin RR's are 100% american made. I read an article on them they had to go to full automation in thier production cells just to keep up with the asian markets. So either way americans are losing jobs, just depends on how many people are out of work when you talk about it.

Probe does not make there stuff oversea's they dont buy their billets from over seas, they get them from a forger also located in Los angeles, all there parts are made in-house, and before your start a big argument with my i have a buddy that works for probe and i have personally witnessed them make their own crankshafts, pistons and connecting rods

Oh man... I feel like getting on a soap box and preaching about the necessity of buying american. We have the biggest economy in the world. We produce a lot of ****, and we buy even more. The problem is that we don't buy our own products. As a result, we don't support one another. We support other countries, and we're losing our wealth as a result.

Maybe I shouldnt have said made.

If a crank is less than a grand, it is Chinese.

If rods are less than a grand they are probably Chinese.

That means that most of the cranks and rods that are sold, are Chinese.

You should know who Mark is then.

Ive seen alot stroker kits from Probe dealers. In the $1200-1500 range.

There was a big thread about this over at Hardcore50, which Mark was involved in. Now from that thread, I was under the impression that the cranks was just finished at Probe, and not actually made here. If Im wrong, then I apologize.

I am also not trying to take anything away from Probe. Their products damn good.
