Just wait until you hear a real exhaust set up, youll want to change. My friend has the american thunder on his 04 mach 1 and already wants a different one.

I have to agree with zkiller, flows are the best sounding mustang exhuast period. Its not as loud as SLP or Magnapacks but it actually sounds better. JMO, but to each their own.

American Thunder is one of the most BADASS sounding exhausts I've ever heard. I'm glad you didn't listen to a lot of the crap people post here...like they lose 8rwhp from Flowmaster...thats Just throw on an offroad midpipe now and tell your neighbors to invest is some earplugs!

FlowMasters are great they are one of the only exaust that get lighter with age. Sorry I could not resist. My brother has flows on his fox and I have heard them on an 02 stang and they both sound like flowmasters. Honestly I think the price for flowmasters are a little high for an exhaust that will be orange from rust in a year or two. Thats my opinion. If you like the flowmasters buy them it's your coin

i love my flowmaster with o/r h. i also loved the sound of the magnaflow on my camaro with no cat. but i quit loving it after i heard it from the outside. granted it was an LT1 but still exhaust sounds alot different from the outside.

Hes saying they rust because they are aluminum. I have had no rusting issues with mine and I live near Chicago where it snows like crazy and there is always salt on the road.

flowmaster is great for us guys who like the old fashioned muscle car sound...borla and bassani and exhausts like that are for guys who prefer the more modern sounding nascar type sound....in any case they all sound awesome its all about preference

yeah, i got american thunder too. i was leaning towards the magnapacks until i heard a newer gt with just the catback. I didn't like it so much. To quote someone (not sure who) "I picked the american thunder system because it sounds real pissed off and full of rage". Now all you need is an o/r H. From just my catback to an o/r H made all the difference in the world. Loud as h3ll!!! neighbors WILL complain. and complain some more. F 'em!!! Good product.

If I had to make one complaint about the American Thunder kit, it's that you can't turn down the noise level when cops are following you all over town. That's happened to me twice in the past 24 hours. Once last night on my way to a baseball game, a cop followed me from just leaving my friend's house all the way to the stadium. And then this morning, four cops were departing from a little meeting about a mile from my house; one got in front of me and the other three behind me, all four were by me most of the way to work this morning.

But I suppose you'll have that problem with any exhaust kit...damn pigs.
