I have a Coustic sub amp. Its worked great for a few years. I could smell hot wires and come to find out my rear speaker wires grounded with each other. Also when i was trouble shooting the problem i hooked up the power and ground backwards on the amp and blew the big fuse on the battery, lots of sparks!
now the amps green power light goes to red when the bass hits and is not sending a sound even when there is no bass. The remote wire is fine the ground is good...maybe the subwoofer wires disconnected?? that could be.
Can I pop off the cover to the amp and check a fuse or something?
