Amp Location?

I would like to put my amp under the rear seat. Is there any problems with doing it?

I am assuming you have a 02 Stang. First, there is no room under the seat unless you cut off the cushion, then anyone who sits on that side of the seat will have a nice butt warmer. Second, Heat dissapation. There is none under the seat. You will cook up that amp nice and hot.

3 choices -

1. Rear Seat Delete
2. Mount amp onto the back of the seat. (coupe)
3. Mount amp on the side of the trunk. (vert, coupe also)

ive got 2 amps in my 95 stang and i have them mounted to the back of my seats inside the trunk and it works realy nice and with the neon it all looks really good.

kk ill get some posted as soon as i can, i have it takin all out now, so the trunk is naked, i had some bad problems with my amps over heating, the guy at audio plus said it was probably my power cables being to small so as soon as i get it rewired i will get some pics posted.
