From a car for sale on evilbay:

"Being a certified mechanic with racing experience since 1971 all the work on the car was done by me except front end alignment and cylinder head work."

"In 1988 the plastic on the timing gear came off and was ingested by the oil pump which in turn locked the rotors and snapped oil pump drive shaft, a very common problem with early 302 motors,

being a couple miles from the house I drove it home to save on the towing fees which was a bad move after letting it cool down I found the motor was seized."

WOW!, in 17 years on the job he never learned driving a car with no oil pressure would kill it?

Just the guy I want working on anything I own...Not!

If he's been a certified mechanic since 1971, he's got 33 years on the job, not 17. That's even sadder. LOL.

I saw that ad last night, there was quite a few things in it that gave me a good laugh, including what this guy thinks this car is worth.

I thought I read that it was in 1988. I'd read it again, but I don't think my brain could take it.

Okay, NOW I get it. It's 17 years from 1971 until 1988 when the motor locked up.
