Don't worry about it. They didn't change the build week.

So, so glad I never have to call that number again. My wife used to get such a kick out me swearing up a storm at the phone system.

Don't worry Simple - that's normal. The new 'as of' date is usually in the future and will be the date the car starts down the line.

jt - builds are usually scheduled 3 weeks out or so, sometimes they get pulled up if there's space. build takes 2 days and then (provided you are not pulled for extended quality check) transit is 1-3 weeks.

biznazion thanks. I figured it was nothing to worry about. Ive started to see ALOT of v6's on the road, few GT's. Its making me anxious.

jtthirdeye, When I called and got that message it only took like 8 hours for them to schedule a build date. I called twice one day, first time was Serialized, Second time was.. scheduled to be built may 30th. yours will probobly be june 10th.

on a side note...for some reason it keeps saying I have 0 posts.

I must say, your right on with the T82/A82 thing. oh man that pissed me off! One day my buddy grabbed the phone and said "Anal-Ist", some lady came on and he screamed at the top of his lungs and hung up... not very professional, but it did spruce up a boring friday!..

I called that dang number so many times - my wife used to sit behind me laughing her a$$ off at me. Just for grins one time I tried to use my VIN - ha! You think it's tough to get her to understand T82 - the VIN was pure hell. Anyway, I found it I had better luck if you keep the 't' on the end of eight quite - 'TEE AAA TWO'. It won't be long now anyway and the wait is well worth it.

I've got a scheduled June 20th build date. Ordered the car just over a week ago.

I called the local dealer and asked them how long after the June 20th date it would take for actual delivery. She said it would be six weeks...though it might be sooner, they always tell people six weeks.

That seems lengthy to me. I was thinking two or three weeks after build completion...which shouldn't take that long. Or am I mistaken?

That's what I was thinking. I'm going to call on Tuesday to get more details. I was thinking it should be about two weeks after completion.

The woman that I ordered it from has been on the up and up so far, though. She said she usually tried to stretch her estimates to compensate for the dumb-ass salesmen that promise impossible dates (try four weeks from order to delivery, which is what they told me, though I didn't buy it after reading the posts on this and other forums). I think she just went a bit over-the-top on this occasion.

2 Week Shutdown in July

My dealership has told me my build date is June 27, forget trying to use the automated language mangler, but the dealer also mentioned that Ford Factory shuts down for two weeks in July, the first two weeks and this includes shipping. He said if the factory gets the vehicle built, and shipped prior to shutdown all will be well, otherwise the everything will sit for 2 weeks.

I was given my VIN# on May 31, or a little over 2 weeks ago.
Does anybody know how much longer it will be?
