And I wondered why it was running funny....

Tried driving the car after h/c/i for the first time the other night and all seemed ok. It still wouldn't idle but i had throttle control so i figured i could drive it up the block and back. Well after some bucking and a quick rip into power I brought it back and it was smoking like usual, but thats because of a leak on the back of the lower intake. So I start to tear it down to fix the leak and I find this.

Which finally came down to this...



I didn't have a breather system hooked up to the new valve covers so I over pressurized the crankcase so it threw up oil everywhere, but the coolant issue I'm still wondering. I did notice that the fel-pro headgaskets that I'm using both seem to be passenger gaskets because they both say front on the right side of them. Therefore it is blocking the passages on the rear driver and the front passenger. But I'm also suspecting the lower intake gaskets not being sealed completely.

Any one have opinions???

Correction, they are ROL gaskets. Also, what the deal was with the oil breather was that it was spittin oil out the nipple on the side of the neck so for some dumbass reason i blocked it, so it blocked any escape of pressure. But atleast its fixeble. Today i picked up a breather, a new pcv valve and screen.
