anyone ever use this stuff or see it in use? would it only help in high boost applications or do you think there might be a benefit for us under 10# guys?

I haven't used this product but I do use VHT to help keep my belt from slipping and I'm still using the stock 3.33 pulley on my S-Trim. Without it my belt slips at about 5500rpms unless I make the belt really tight. If the belt doesn’t slip I usually see 10# at 5800rpms when I shift. If the belt slips I’ve seen it drop to as low as 4#. You can really feel the difference when it slips.

damn i just read belt dust can be from slippage and i get a lot of dust. what consistency is the VHT? does it get flung all over the engine compartment and will it damage paint?

Yes it will get splatter the paint if you don't let it dry. I found this out the first time I put it on because it got on the hood and front bumper cover. I used Goop Off and it came right off without any damage to the paint. I now use a paint brush to apply and let it dry for at least an hour.
