I have a major vibration coming from the rear end. It is not constant. I bought a 1991 5.0 that had an auto tranny that had a bad over drive. The rear end also needed to be rebuilt. So I swapped out the auto for a 5spd. The rear was replace with a different one from a car that was wrecked. I had new u-joints installed on the driveline. I also replaced the rims and tires. When I bought the car it didn't have this vibration. When I push the clutch in and rev the motor it is smooth with no vibrations. Driving down the road it shows up from about 55mph to 70mph then it almost diisappears. All of the replacement parts worked fine individually in thier former cars. How do I fine this vibration since it is not constant?

Issues:
Tires/rims are new but have been sitting for 4 years. The tire man checked the balance of the rear tires and they were fine, but he said they had a slight hop????

Driveline has new u joints, but didn't get it balanced.

Rear end came from a wreck car, but the rims weren't bent.

5sp came from same wrecked car. I bought a new rear bushing and seal, but haven't replaced it yet.

Since this isn't constant where is the best place to start? Why would this vibration only be in a certain speed range? It is really irritating and takes away all of the fun driving the car...

Thanks
Paul
