I spoke with the guy that has my engine tore apart, and he said that he's going to try and use a crank out of a 4.6 crown vic. Will it interchange, and have the performance? Thanks

No, it will not have the same performance as the Cobra crank...The Cobra cranks are forged and good for a lot of HP...The Crown Vic has a cast crank and are much weaker...

It should fit, but I wouldn't want one in my car...

If you stock crank is in good condition, just reuse it. As was stated, the cobra crank is forged, supports more power and is a better choice for an engine that can easily rev to ~7000.

sorry I don't know the specifics of your buildup. If your crank has been damaged somehow, then I would look into purchasing an exact replacement, not the nodular iron crank from the vic. Good luck!
