I'm transplanting my 5.0 (from a 94) into my 66 hatch.
I currently have a turbo setup, but it would take some pretty hefty modification to fit it into the 66, which i'd rather not do.
So, gonna sell turbo stuff, BUT...
I was thinking of getting my master plan together before I start it all.
I have a TKO which I will be using.
Also, I'd like just under the 500 rwhp breaking point of these blocks.
So, my parts list.....
5.0 block (already have)
347 stoker kit
E-cam (already have)
AFR 225 heads
High flow intake (PPI?)
70mm TB
3.5" MAF 42lb calibrated (already have)
42 lb injectors (was running the 39 lb, but threw tuning off)
Longtubes (need to see if they will clear tko)
The rest of the exhast
FAST EFI
Fuel Pump (dunno if i'm going in or out of tank yet.... need new tank - fuel cell?)
I have all the accessories off of my turbo 94.
Will I make 400 rwhp? I'd like 500, but the budget doesn't call for a blower yet. yet.
