Ok ill get to it. i blew out a plug tonight on my way home from work. driving slow and shifted to 3rd and bam!, there it went. i did hear ticking earier in the day and thought it was an an exhaust leak and figured id look at it tomorrow, and after a long night of work i hopped in my car and forgot about it anyway. the plug is the 2nd from the front on the drivers side. i want to know cause ive been searching for a while now, where was that repair kit that somebody, idk who, posted in a thread a few weeks ago. what else have you guys done in this situation other than replace the head that has cost less than 200 and held up good. if it gets to be a 300+ dollar fix for these ****ty heads, imma have to get some new ones, aftermarket.., but i really dont want to dish out the cash now, i just did gears and my money is low. this sucks so much, but somebody plz hit me with some good advice
btw, i did install the plugs myself and theyve been in for 9 months now, used antiseize on the threads as well.. so i guess i barely didnt turn that one enough or something. idk. the plugs are ngk tr6's. thanks to all who help out
