Just picked a 03 cobra black steering wheel up on ebay for 60 bucks. My steering wheel was pretty bad, all torn and worn. I really need to chill out on parts for a month or week or maybe a day. Could have gotten another mod but bought my mother a new dishwasher and garbage disposal instead. I like to make my mom happy, than my car.

On a serious note nice pick up the fr500 wheel isnt really that much more and is what I will probably be going with.

I have an Fr500 wheel on my car and I think its HUGE improvment over the stock wheel. To me anyways

Not that much more its over 200 on americanmuscle, to pricey for a steering wheel for me.

the last fr500 wheel i saw looked just like the stock 99-04 steering wheel

maybe i was looking at the wrong one?

An 03/04 Cobra steering wheel is not a FR500. The FR500 has a thicker grip area and different leather. Its that padded leather with holes in it

Is your mom hawt? If so id like to make her happy too

i had the FR500 steering wheel on my last 2 mustangs and i freakin loved it ( i actually transfered it from one to the other) and i wish i would have done it again. but 240 is crazy. it used to only be 160

Didnt say it was just saying fr500 not worth it even with thicker grip, padded leather and holes.
