Only thing that sucks is I gotta head to N.Y. to pick it up this weekend....

congrats...

been drooling for a blue/silver r6 of the 98-01 era (with the 2 round tail lights anyway, get the years mixed up). That wont happen until the next house and more garage space though so another 2 or so years...well a better job would help as well but I am working on that:D .

that looks like it has aged' well for a 97. those zx's (all the 600+)are right behind the r6/r1 as my fav. bike.

Congrats Andy! Seems like people are getting bikes like they were installing air/oil separators not long ago. I am not surprised to hear you're pickin one up - it sounded like you missed having the CBR (I think that was it) around.
You guys are inspiring me to clean up some of mine.

We hope it is as great as promised! Good luck Andy. :nice:

Ya I'm humped...Been wanting a zx11 for years and figured it was gonna be my next ride...Had 750 and 900 sportbikes ...but I just like the ride and power of the 1100's...I sold an 1100 a few years back and miss it...This will be 5 times the bike that was....:D

Won't be many mods on the Mustang this year...If it even comes outta storage...

I'm with ya - I dig the low-end grunt of the literbikes+ myself. I had pined for a ZX11, Dos Equis/Blackbird and the like (I'm dating myself) back when I was really into riding. I like the fact that most ZX11's are adult owned and often just weekend toys.

But ya know, me thinks you'll have quite a fun summer. And if you like, you can send the stang down here to the desert - I'll drive it for ya. Tell ya what, I'll drive it year-round for you. It was 90* yesterday. :D Or ride out here and I'll dust off the CBR 1000 and we can go drag some pegs. :nice:

Congrats yea I had a 750 and now my current 900 and it just wants to go like a raped ape i love it lol. But Congrats I almost had to drive to N.Y to pick up a R1 I was looking at. Then I found my deal on my ZX9r I couldnt pass it up

Just yet another Andy-ism. :nice: I dont remember most, but he says cool stuff that I never heard of before (like ching) and uses female body parts (or acts) to signify that something is cool.

I been on alot fast bikes and scared the chit out of myself more than once...:D You just can't beat em for rush of power...The last one I had was a ZX9, and yes they do screw!!! endless ball's for sure...
I was gonna go for a GSXR1000 but once in awhile the wife like's a short ride and the 1100 is much better for her...plus saying I didn't want another crotch-rocket didn't hurt...:nice:
All my bud's have new HD's and kept talking me that way...not my style and to slow....:D Plus I ain't into dropping 15k or more on a bike..

Hissin...I looked for a Blackbird...there real hard to find...I found 2 and they were on the West coast and over 1k to ship ...That screwed that...

Well after 9 hrs of driving and 4 hrs of wrenching to get it running, dead battery and it sat for 11 months, I got my bike today...:nice:

She needs a tank of fresh fuel and throw some plugs in it to boot....But man does it haul ass just the same...:D
Pipes nice and broken in and she bark's purdy decent...

Nice find...

I miss the bike scene. I rode a 2002 Hyabusa last week. There really is no need for a 1300cc bike. The Gixxer1000 I rode after we dropped the Busa off was a better ride imo. I saw the commercials yesterday for the 1400cc bike. I think they manufactures are getting out of hand racing to add big motors. A 1000cc is the most needed.

Or go with torque bike like the Aprilia. I miss her. Roger on the bike, stolen in 2004. The best corner curving bike.
