I'm getting ready to put on some patriotperformance stage II PI heads, PI intake, LT's, Prochamber, and a king cobra clutch. Well after all that I'm going to need a tune.

I live in Yuma, AZ so I havn't heard of any good dyno tune shops around me. I don't want to go get it dyno tuned by some one that isn't going to give me a perfect tune. Does anybody know of a good shop within 300 miles or so of me?

So I was thinking of getting an Xcalibrator from MPH with the tune software. I'm very mechanically inclinded and I know how to use a computer. I heard that you can't make any drastic changes. What exactly can you change and how much can you change it with the Xcalibrator?

Is there a better set up out there to use? Where is the best deal on data logging stuff to monitor a/f ratio's. What else should I look into data logging?

with the basic xcalibrator you can get up too three "custom" tunes and it comes with a cable and you can download software too change these tunes somewhat.

you can change

timming, change fuel map a little, change for gears and a few other things. if you go too modulardepot they have a lot of info on it there. the preditor does about the same thing too.

they also have a sct pro setup that lets you have full control of the eec system. you may want too look into this setup too.

stay away from the patriot heads, do a few searches on some different forums & you'll find out why. they have a good price, but trust me you'd be better off to get something of quality than to skimp when you are modding.

look at the MPH heads, they make more power than any other heads out there

Well I already bought the Patriot heads and I did my research before I did it. The early problems that Patriot was having with their heads has been remedied.

Does the Xcalibrator have enough control over the fuel map to compensate for a TB/plenium that I will get latter?

Anybody know of a good dyno tune shop in my area?
