Well you can remove the stocker from the fender and weld up the hole etc, then route the antenna to a wire antenna. The problem i've had is just finding an antenna to do this with.
You could always just do the "Antenna mod" Remove the ball on top of the antenna and trim the antenna to what ever length you want. The ball is pressed on btw.
seems like i saw an antenna that was wound in the fender one time so there was no external antenna.
If and when i paint my jalopy im doing the antenna delete with the plug like on the 93 R. I never listen to it anyway.
