I got a 1990 mustang GT 5.0 I was taking off the air intake system when i noticed there was some oil and antifreeze in the air intake manifold where it connects to the air intake tube. is this normal and what do i have to do to fix this?

are you sure you didn't just drip it in there from removing the tb stuff ?

the only way for it to get in there is if it sucked up in there... from the filter.

so i think your fine. and when you say "oil" do mean oily residue ?

what part of the intake were you removing? If you were taking off the throttle body and egr spacer then you will leak a little coolant into the intake.
If you were not removing them and found coolant in the intake then I would say that the gaskets on the throttle body and egr spacer should be replaced.

yes i was taking off the throttle body and thats when i saw it. it wasnt alot but it was enough to make me wonder. Ill double check and replace the gaskets on the throttle body just incase. Thanks for the answers
