Any advantage to installing a cobra upper and lower?

I have a 92 vert that is for the most part stock. I have come across a cobra upper and lower intake. I want to put it on if for nothing else the looks. But will there be any kind of gain? Should I port them or anything? WOuld I need any other surrounding upgrades to use this intake??

You'll deffinetly get some gains from it, i would wager at least 10hp, more if you did MAF/TB. I'd go for it.

I'd second that, I'd get it and use it, then you will be adding heads down the road as well I'm sure.

i did the same thing as you by installing it for the looks. suprised to see a change in powerband of engine. lost a little torque downlow and added a little more horses in the upper. of course i added 65mm throttle and larger mass air also. wont be a seat of pants change but its a good start if u plan on adding low end heads, exhaust, cam

I noticed a major sotp gain, didn't really lose any low end and i definatly gained topend. It really woke my motor up more than i thought it would. I also installed a 70mm throttle body and i already had the e-cam and other supporting mods.....Now i just need some heads and then a stroker assembly lol.
