Hey everyone. Recently my brother and I completed the three year buildup of my 1979 Cobra. One of the only things left to do is get the air conditioning to work. Because I updated the pump to a '92 style pump, the original lines will no longer work.

As for the rest of the system, I've kept the original pieces (the only change was the pump.) What I need is a person/company that specializes in making lines and making sure that the system will be working correctly when it's done. Is there anyone on the south shore/south coast of Massachusetts that is good at this kind of thing? Please post any recommendations.

Thanks,
Pete

Thanks, but I don't know if I could use them. I'm hoping to talk to someone who works on air systems daily, a so called expert. I went to one place already and I got the distinct impression that the guy didn't want to do it. All I need are three lines custom made. From there, it will just need to be recharged.

I really don't know anything about it. All I know is that I would like it to work. I do know that the radiator and heater core are brand new and the block on the firewall is in excellent condition. I will probably replace the dryer bottle and the condensor, as they are 25 years old. It's the hoses/lines that are holding me up. I can't use any later model lines, as they won't hook up to my 1979 components because the fittings are totally different.
