Any experience with these seats?

Looking at these Corbeau Reclining sport seats for my 93.
I have seen complaints about Corbaeu seats sitting high, but since I'm not tall 5'7" that's ok.
Don't race the car so not looking for anything with harness slots of extreme bolstering,
just looking for a nice upgrade over stock.
I have thought about doing full reupholstering to my stock GT seats but price wise it's about the
same and not sure if I'd be happy with the fit and finish.
I see that Corbeau sells their own brackets but I imagine I could adapt the ones from my stock
seats to save some dough. Anyone have any experience with Corbeau sports?

My business partner put a set in his Corvette and seems to like them. He did say they set to high, so he sent the base back to Corbeau and they shaved a 1" off the foam to drop them some.

I looked into them but read about them being high. I know they offer a 1" shaving option. Other than that they seem decent. I've also heard the cloth covering tends to fade in full sun over time

Yeah I've also read about them sitting high but for me being " vertically challenged " this would be a good thing..lol
I am actually looking at them in gray vinyl , I did see they offered a gray vinyl with cloth insert but looks like
it's been discontinued.

Any experience with these seats?
