any gains from crane hi-6?

hey guys......i have a brand new crane hi-6 box that i have lying around....i got it back when i had stock heads and cam....if i put it on now, will i see a gain or benefit from the box? let me know


ps.......if i wont see any gain or benefit ill probably just sell the box or trade it for something else

With NA combos ...........
As long as the OEM ignition is in good working order ............

An aftermarket ignition usually won't produce a hp gain
therefore
I'd say to stick with the OEM stuff you now got

Now ... if talking forced combo

An aftermarket ignition helps with spark blow out at higher rpm's

Yeah, you're not gonna be seeing any power gains. The only reason I got my 300+ is cause I got a killer deal on it, but I did my ignition and cold air at the same and saw a noticeable increase in fuel economy, 3-4 mpg. That'll be the only place you might see some gains
