Any good shops in the Los Angles Area?

I'm new to the the whole vintage mustang world. I purchased a 67 fastback last year and I'm looking at upgrading the entire suspension. However, I don't know where to take it . I want to be able to tell the shop, "I want a shelby drop" and them know what I'm talking about.

Any suggestions? Oh yeah, I'm in the Los Angeles area.

I haven't had any work done here, but it is near my office and I see him with alot of mustangs. I have talked to him and seen his shop, it looks pretty clean and they appear to do good work.

Marlo's Frame and Alignment in Chatsworth. He is the guy (and shop) in most of the recent suspension and tsteering articles in Mustang and Fords and Mustang Monthly. He knows Mustang suspensions inside and out.

try this place, they are in Van Nuys and mustangs is all they do, almost all the members from Fords and Mustangs go to these guys. The name of the shop is Marlo's Frame & alignment

stay away from fly ford, i know fisrt hand.

try simpson frame and alignment on gower in hollywood. he is the absolute best.

Are you strickly talking about the city of Los Angeles or the county? I live near Ontario and this place called Merlin's Quality Auto is a great place for classic cars. I took mine in and he fixed a carburetor issue. Their mechanics have lots of experiance with old cars, and I was referred to this place by an old AAA guy (who owns several classic cars).

Los Angeles County. Actually east L.A. County towards Pomona or west San Bernadino County like Ontario. I live in West Covina so places like flyford are far.

Actually, the last time I talked with Danny was a few years, but his shop was in Rosemead

If that's still his number, tell him Rich with the green 67 says hi!!
I've got his R&P
But, I will say that a suspension drop is pretty simple. Buy a kit, and a full day with another buddy, and it's done.
Also, how's the rest of the components that you might reuse.
Then the alignment.
Make sure your tires fit before you do the drop!
Two days if you take your time!!

Danny moved about a year and a half ago. His new shop is in Whittier. He has been featured in a few magazines and does quality work.

He is not in Whittier. I went by recently, the place is now a tire shop.

I was bothered by a strange feeling so I went by the shop. DB engineering is till there! I confused DBE with Gushi Racing...Gushi is gone, replaced by the tire shop. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience.
