Any have experience with PMP verticle doors?

A customer of ours bought them, (forget from where) and had them installed. The first place had no idea what they were doing and completly screwed them up and charged her a crap load of money. She had to buy a completly new kit and get them reinstalled by people that knew what they were doing.

So if you get them make sure u know somebody that has the experience and won't screw it up. No matter how easy they say the install is, it just isn't. These kits are very hard to install.

However the doors look friggin AWESOME :hail2: :hail2: :hail2:
As soon as i can afford it (and after the car is running 11's) i will be getting them.

they look pretty cool. someone i work with owns a small body shop. he is really into old school mods, and something he wants to do to my car, that would be awesome, is remove the door handles, smooth the whole door out, and install poppers. you hit a button on your keychain, and the door pops open. it is more subtle, but still i think it would be a great mod.

I think these look pretty sweet, but more importantly, I won't bang into the lawn mower or a bike when I try to get out after parking in my very narrow garage.

Can you send me pictures of your car. I am curious to see the setup.. I have almost the exact same car with the following mods just finished:

TKOII Trans
Subframe connectors
V-2 SQ Trim Polished
lower control arms
aluminum driveshaft
MAC white face guages
clock replacement fuel pressure and boost guage

I think we have very similar setups. What's your RWHP? You know? Sorry to raid the thread, but it's about time I meet someone with a similar setup!!

I put together a small site about the car.

I'd guess that I'm making about 400ish RWHP, but haven't gotten it dyno'd. Thanks for the replies.

I think they look sweet, but like someone said, until your car is running 11's, I really cant see the justification of spending 2000 on a VISUAL upgrade....that would be a little rice-like.

I have the PMP vertical door kit on my car and its not hard to put on if you have a door doly to line the doors up. Its a pretty straight forward install. Some people like it and others don't but, I don't care what people think because its my car not theirs :D .
my car @ S.F. DUB Show Superseries
I should be lowering it about 1 1/4 inches 'cause it sits too freakin high. Its already lowered with the Eibach Pro Kit but, its not enough for me.

i really think you should dyno your car ASAP

Last time I checked, your car and my car are powered by the same motor. No disrespect intended, but maybe you need to visit the dyno tech. And since when does vertical doors automatically represent a fast car? :nonono:

md1198p... Point well taken. But if the designers for Lamborghini find it a suitable modification for their premier ultra performance works of art... no argument here. How many of us can afford a Lambo, anyways? :D

MyEarsHurt... True. It's relatively expensive, $2000 probably better spent elsewhere. But to each his own, right?

NL Koncepts... VERY nice car man. Chrome isn't for me but you've obviously put a lot of time and money in and it's lookin REAL good. Kudos on the doors... Easily the nicest car out of all the ones there. :nice:

you talking to me or the other guy?

personally I like them for the functionality... I could care less if they are rice, if I have to buy one more can of touch up paint cause my kid hits something next to me I'm gonna scream... this would alieveate that, sure selling the kid on e0bay would work to, but as of last year thats no longer legal :p
